Supreme Hindu god, Lord Shiva is believed to live in Mount Kailash by Hindu religion people. For them, to make the strenuous pilgrimage to Kailash and have the Darshan (divine view) of Shiva's abode is to attain release from the vices of life. Thousands of Hindu religious people pour in the sacred mount Kailash and Mansarovar Lake, situated in the China's Autonomous Region of Tibet, every year from across the globe and neighboring country India via the route of Nepal.
