Kailash Mansarovar Yatra – May 2025: A Divine Journey via Lhasa Route
We are overjoyed to announce the 100% successful completion of our first Kailash Mansarovar Yatra group of 2025 in the sacred month of May! The journey was nothing short of a spiritual odyssey — filled with divine blessings, unforgettable views, heartfelt moments, and boundless devotion. Our group not only completed the sacred Kailash Parikrama but also had the rare opportunity to visit the North Face of Mount Everest, adding another extraordinary chapter to this once-in-a-lifetime pilgrimage.
🛤️ Route Taken: The Scenic Lhasa Route
Our Yatra commenced via the majestic Lhasa route, a preferred path for those seeking both spiritual fulfillment and cultural richness. Here’s a brief outline of the route:
- Kathmandu → Lhasa (Tibet)
- Lhasa sightseeing: Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street
- Lhasa to Shigatse
- Shigatse to Saga
- Saga to Lake Mansarovar
- Holy Puja at Lake Mansarovar
- Journey to Darchen and the beginning of the Kailash Parikrama
- Trek via Yam Dwar – Dirapuk – Dolma La Pass – Zuthulpuk
- Completion of Parikrama and after that EBC BASE CAMP return to Kathmandu
🌊 Divine Moments at Lake Mansarovar
The group reached the holy Lake Mansarovar, where pujas, havan, and ritual baths were performed. The serene waters reflected not just Mount Kailash, but also the devotion of each Yatri. It was an emotional moment as prayers for peace, well-being, and blessings filled the air.
🕉️ Sacred Kailash Parikrama
The 3-day trek around Mount Kailash, known as the Kora or Parikrama, was completed by each member. Despite the challenging terrain, the group’s spirits remained high, their chants of “Om Namah Shivaya” echoing through the mountains. Dolma La Pass, the highest point at 18,600 ft, tested their resolve, and every step taken felt like a blessing.
🏔️ Bonus Blessing: North Face of Mount Everest
As an added spiritual and scenic experience, our Yatris were fortunate to visit the North Base Camp of Mount Everest. The awe-inspiring sight of the world’s tallest peak left everyone speechless. It was a moment of profound connection with nature and the divine.
